This is my first photography with “sports cars” has been associated since my childhood. Shooting cars is something i never have done professionally and i hope you know what i mean as the ones i did was just a street photography ones. So flash back to few months where i was contacted by Sam, the owner of this awesome car, that he wanted me to shoot his car “the Porsche”. He also mentioned that the main reason for shooting this car was that he was leaving Dubai for good. This is first time when someone came to ask to shoot his/her car when most of the time it is models ;). I really got excited and i wanted to do something different from a normal car magazine shoot.
Location was something important here in this shoot in order to give it a different feel. Secondly post processing was another criteria i looked into and wanted something different to be applied rather than my usual processing. Being a Porsche you just cannot take this car to a desert and shoot. I had to make sure that the porsche meets with the right environment and yet showing the characteristic of the owner. I used to go to the locations which i had in mind and then i would think right and then how the feel i should be giving to the pictures. There were one picture of the car, the one with the puddles which was not a pre planned shoot from the rains that had happened the previous day.
Both Sam and myself enjoyed shooting this car and we hope to finish few more shoots again with this car if this babe is not sold soon;) Until then enjoy the presentation, video and pictures shown below.

What all did i use for this shoot. Well, i had my Nikon D800, Tripod, Lens 24-70mm and 14-24mm Nikkor Lens. I did not use any polorizer or any external flash. Most of my shoots were taken with tripod and all the wheels shoot taken hand held.(Yes, i was laying down on the road;) )

The above magazine kind of effect is created with Photoshop first and then converted to PDF using adobe acrobat pro. It was then uploaded to Issuu.com. Unfortunately, as this is flash based content, this cannot be viewed on any IOS devices unless you using Opera Browser or you can get Puffin Browser for 99 Cents.
