I got comments from my previous post on how i retouched my image using the Frequency Separation Technique. I think there are many retouchers/photographers who will find better than me to describe this technique and the best i found is of Oleg Ti which you can read. You also can download his action here .
Those of you who are into new into retouching, don’t be dishearten when you don’t get things right at the first go. I had to try it 4-5 times before i knew what i was doing with this technique and you really need patience for this kind of job;) Once you work this technique in couple of pictures you will get the hand of it and then you need to move on with different techniques. The above one was already processed using Imagenomic Portraiture before i knew what frequency separation is. I first did thing is remove the blemish and then apply the Imagenomic Portraiture. Then the dodge and burn and finally i used one of the filters from OnOne to bring this kind of effect for the frames.
